You can see it at work in my latest batch of icons here (and probably in everything else afterward). That particular template I used is liquid -- the number of columns adjust according to the width of the browser window -- but the script can also do set tables. :) I have a few (boring) pre-sets made, previews of which are also available on the site; there's also a how-to on-site in case you wish to further customize the template it generates.
If you run into problems with regards to usage of the script and you're certain it's a bug, please feel free to post here and let me know so I can fix it. :) Of course, any other sort of comment, suggestion, and the like is very much welcome. :) ♥
Frequently Asked Questions!
#1: It doesn't work for me, when I post it at my journal, I see all these weird text like "<center><div...", not the images.
It's not a bug. You must use the right mode in Livejournal while posting; the Rich text editor will mess your code. Use HTML! See below:

Please see this LJ FAQ entry for further information.
#2: Do you accept icon template "donations"?
Yes, I do! If you have a template of your own that you use regularly, feel free to send it over and I can include it to the list I already offer, with credits back to you. With your template being part of the preset list, you can then just select it from the dropdown anytime (no more copy-pasting into the form!), you get credit links, and others can benefit from your HTML wizardry!

What do you mean by "second row with the numbers"? You mean, how to automatically generate the numbers from how many images you enter in the form?

As you can see in the post, the background for the table (which is supposed to be gray) does not appear and the link to post a comment is, well, a little far from where it should be.
Is there a way I can contact you and send you the codes I used so maybe you can figure what's wrong with them?
One other thing, when I preview the entry, it appears as it should.

Love it!... but I've got a little problem
I found your generator a while back, but didn't have the need to use it. I have found, though, that trying to place all the icons for my fanlistings in a table is a horror no one should be subjected to, so I thought that I would use your generator instead.Now, I have no problem making a customized template for your generator, it's actually very easy (thank you, thank you, thank you!!!), but when I try to put it in the text boxes, all my money signs turn into "S". This means that the table is generated just fine, but none of images show, because the variables aren't exchanged for the URLs.
Is there anyway around this problem? This generator is a lifesaver (coding 100+ fanlistings into a table is a nightmare).
Thank you for such an amazing tool! ;D

Re: Love it!... but I've got a little problem
It did not? Maybe it just looks like an "s" because of the font of the fields? :)5 years ago

stumbled from here to here to HERE!!!^O^
that's one good idea and is really helpful too, I'm planning to make a huge icon post when I finally managed to upload all the icons that are already filing up in my folders, when I finally have the time to do so^^;
I'm just already getting insane just by thinking of the amount of time that I have to spend on just arranging all those icons on an entry, and then I found this! I'll definitely try using your generator, ohhhhhh you're my (and others') saviour, thank you so much!!! YOU = <333 ^O^ *adds entry to memories*

-> Look..
Can I do something about this?
I already tried using the rich text editor, and also the plain text mode.
I really like your idea, very nice of you!
But I hope it's gonna work.. =(

You should use the plain text mode. For some reason your pasted html is showing up using < and > instead of < and > for the html tags... not totally sure why that happens for you, as it seems fine for me and everyone else so far?
What you could do is after pasting it and publishing the entry, copy the html in the entry and edit the entry and replace the generated html. Or paste the generated code into an html file, view it in your browser, copy the html from there.

Thanks very much.
There's already a table with a few icons, some of them have a broken url or something, but I will try to fix that. By the way, I tried it with your first option.. Thanks a lot actually.

Thanks very much!
There's a credit line underneath the icon table and I also credited you @my user info :)
